“When I checked in I think the gentleman tried speaking slowly to make me understand easier cause I am a foreigner. It’s an old historical hotel and I think the founder love poem, I can see from the declaration. Anyway they provided the best breakfast. ”

We especially loved the breakfasts, chatting with Newton and enjoying a delicious full English breakfast along with Lehka's delicous banana bread! The location is convenient and charming and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We would happily come back again! A big thank you again to Lehka and Newton :)”

“Perfect Stay! The staff are amazing, especially Stephanie and Gabbi, who were so lovely, and helpful, even on the phone before I arrived. Nothing is too much trouble.The hotel has just been refurbished, so everything is brand new. Beautiful room, such a comfy, huge bed. Bottles of water and kettle to make hot drinks. Even an iron and mini board. Climate control. Delicious breakfast . Just perfect.”

“The location is just fantastic. Thameslink, overground and underground are just within 2-4 mins walk. 4 supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. Though the building is old, it is clean and tidy. The bathroom is newly renovated. WiFi is strong. When comparing to the price, it is competitive. We will surely recommend it to our friends.”
