“Check in staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Plenty options. The only problem I had - I asked for a 12 oclock check because i had a meeting to attend. Front desk staff made a note and said everything would be fine. I returned to the room at 11. At that time I meet up with housekeeping, who asked me if I was checking out. I told her we would be leaving at 12. About 5 minutes went by, my husband was getting dressed and I was using the restroom and she let herself into the……

“It was pretty clean and the front desk people were pretty cool. If you wake up early you can grab breakfast early and stuff. You should come here. Worth staying at.”

“The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient. Although the hotel facilities are starting to show their age and feel a bit dated, everything is well-maintained, bright, and very clean. They offer a convenient complimentary breakfast; however, the seating area in the breakfast room felt a little cramped, so you might have to squeeze in or wait for a table during peak hours.”

“Continental breakfast wasn’t available at 7 on our first morning. Instead it was all set up at 7:30 when we had to leave for an appointment. “Fresh” was anything but and included brown bananas both mornings. Room condition: tv didn’t work, refrigerator didn’t work and didn’t have a temperature dial. One serving of coffee in the room for 2 people was provided. No spare toilet paper roll. At check in, clerk behind desk was dressed sloppily, we weren’t informed that the room would only be cleaned……

“Was convenient and close to our conference at the university.”

“They failed to Clean our room. There was a dead cockroach ”

“The waiter works hard, has a good attitude, is very careful, very clean, the facilities are perfect. ”

“Can hear your neighbors speak - even at normal levels. Means you sleep when they sleep and wake up when they do. Horrible. Rooms clean but in desperate need of a refresh. Lobby area very nice. ”

“I stayed at the Big Chile because of the close proximity to the bike paths. Las Cruces has some nice paved bike paths and like the rest of New Mexico only gets 310 days of sunshine each year.”

“The toilet did not work properly; the shower had grab bars but not one to help getting into the shower/tub; the shower faucet was very hard to control and turn off.”
