"We thought we had the wrong address... it’s one of those trips where you realized you are going to stay at Bates Motel for one night. Everything was super tired and it felt like a time capsule from 1983. Nothing had been updates except from the shower curtain (no hint here on the Bates Motel comparison). We also learned from our friends whom we visited that the Hotel was going to change owners within the next month and that a major renovation/ tear-down was in the plans for this hotel. I would...
"Pool and popcorn in the lobby were a big hit! Couldn't believe the hotel provided not only a free breakfast but a free dinner of what I might call "tailgate food". Both breakfast and dinner were very good! :-) Staff was very friendly."
"Expedia you charged me 75 plus tax for a hotel I could have gotten for 67. This is the worse hotel I ever stayed at. The room smelled like pee, I felt unsafe, wasn't that clean. The description is not what it actually looked like. 1st and last time using Expedia. "
"The property had true Kentucky charm. The foyer was picture worthy an all the staff was super friendly. There was an indoor and an outdoor pool. The room was clean but a little musty smelling. The cafe behind the hotel had great service and food."

"Hotel was sooooo nice. Very beautiful in rooms. Breakfast was amazing. The only thing that sucked about the stay was . The drug use and homeless people was hanging outside at the entrance of hotel . Smelled like piss and trash was all over the place, it actually looked like they live out front. It’s a shame we let this happen.
the day we left . I looked back at the beautiful hotel and historic place. And all I see is an over run street full of people that do drugs and beg for money For there habits .
Don’t get me wrong, I help out the homeless all the time , I live in New York City,"
