“Operator-franchise owners are restoring an older hotel. In my room the hair dryer was partly installed and the older TV remote did not yet allow beyond one weather channel. But the room was impeccably clean,comfortable and provided at a reasonable rate. I discovered after proceeding on my trip that I had left my plastic dental retainers and knew exactly where tI had left them. Housecleaning staff were caring enough to set them aside and did not just throw them in the trash. I returned 5 hrs……

“The room was clean and comfortable for our stay. The bed was comfy, but not the pillows. I will bring my own pillows next time. The hotel was a good proximity to where we wanted to visit, which was "The House on the Rock" and "Cave of the mounds". It's also across from a nice supper club "Arthur's" . I recommend for a nice little weekend getaway.”

“Saturday & Sunday breakfast includes made to order omelets. Simply check at the front desk, complete the form & check what items you want included. Scrambled eggs & a meat choice, Waffle maker, muffins, variety of breads & cereal, yogurt, fruit juices, and more. Pool was nice, hot tub larger than most. Pool table in Pool area. Lobby with comfortable seating. Nice hotel.”

“Did not like paying extra for "insidentals" Im 70 years old, we dont party so why be charged. Won't be staying again. Sorry”

“Beautiful and pleasant environment, friendly staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, but the bathroom has a strong smell of ammonia, which is very disappointing, everything else is good”

“I loved the place and the town. The bed was very comfortable, and the tub was fun. What I liked the best was the house. There was so much to read and look at. I wish I had booked more nights. I will definitely stay again!”

“The room was clean & comfortable. The stairs & porch needed cleaning. The room had no cup/glass for teeth brushing. Also it’s is above a coffee shop, but they don’t open on Saturday till 8 & 7 on weekdays, and there’s no in room coffee. I really needed morning coffee, but didn’t get it.”

“This is our favorite hotel. The staff are wonderful, the hotel is spotless, the beds and rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is a very good assortment of hot and cold items. This is the location we judge all other U.S. hotels by.”

“This was an excellent base for our activities in Spring Green. It is located within about 5 minutes of both Taliesen and the summer theatre, in a quiet wooded location. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful. Enjoying our breakfast in the lounge while watching the many birds outside was a highlight.”
