“breakfast lady rude”

“I have good things to say about the motel itself. My one negative is not about Best Western itself, but just an FYI...check before you go. We were there June of 2026 and there are a lot of roads torn up all around the motel due to redoing pipes. The water was shut off about 10 or 10:30 at night, not sure for how long. It was back on in the morning. However the motel itself is in a great location on Bay Street. It is nothing fancy, but if you are on a budget it is clean, rooms have microwaves and……

The building itself is gorgeous and our room was delightfully furnished, decorated, and appointed. The staff were kind and attentive. Excellent experience!”

“This is a beautiful location for a hotel! The scenery was awesome and the grounds were perfect for walking my dog. There was lots of shade and Spanish moss in the oak trees, with a perfect view of the marsh and tidal creek. Staff were super helpful and made us welcome with our pet!!”

“We loved Beaufort Inn. When we arrived staff at the front desk welcomed us and took us on a tour of the facility. She was so very welcoming and helpful. We loved being able to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants from our room. We simply loved it! If we go to Beaufort, SC again, we will not stay anywhere else but at the Beaufort Inn. It was wonderful!”

“The Inn is living history , staying here is an oportunity to experience history and southern hospitality , the rooms are large an unusual , the Inn offers chef created dinners for a fixed price also there is bar service , location is unbeatable for water views and short walk to historical downtown shopping , the inn is unique and a rare find”

“We were told that rooms would be close to each other~ did not happen. No assistance offered to accommodate our request. Property is lacking maintenance.”

“There was no actual person at check in, there was someone virtually on a kiosk in the lobby. The room was dirty, and a cockroach was in the bathroom.”

“This is a great value stay on Island. I particularly enjoy the fridge/freezer so I can refreeze the ice packs for my cooler. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and spacious. I've stayed several times with no complaints.”
