“We had a wonderful stay at COZ Boutique Villas in Uluwatu! The complex was beautifully designed and each villa was so luxurious and comfortable. “Firstly, upon arrival, there were no staff present to complete our check-in. We were left waiting to be addressed for 10 mins. In addition, we noticed a sign stating that there would be construction between 9am-5pm; it stated that the construction had no relation to Makara Villas. We came to find, it was in fact, the villa across from ours in the complex. This was unbeknownst to us as there was no mention of construction prior to making our booking. “It's a nice villa, and I'd recommend it with a few nuances. There's plenty of space, comfortable beds, the air conditioning worked well, and a nice pool. Parking is nearby if you need it. I didn't see the beach, but I really liked the small Mensa restaurant, 5-7 minutes from the house. What I didn't like: it was a bit difficult to find at night; there's construction going on all around, which creates some additional noise. If you're in the pool, you can be clearly seen from the kitchen window……

"The hotel upgraded us to one of the villas after 1 night of noise disturbance from upstairs - it was a real treat which elevated our stay to a whole new level. If you can afford it, go for the villas and you won’t regret it. The standard rooms are nice too but you may be affected by other guests who are loud neighbors at night."
