"Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, wonderful city"
When we arrived at Hotel FortySeven we were greeted by very pleasant doorman followed by an extremely helpful receptionist who made our stay very comfortable. After we were checked in she asked if we had visited Rome previously and when confirmed that my fiancé and I had not she whipped out a map of Rome along with a highlighter and proceeded to identify areas of interest within the city from the obvious popular sights to other lesser known, along with best places to eat and shop. Admittedly this sort of research could have been made prior to our to our trip, however she made exploring the city far less daunting by efficiently highlighting our map. All of the hotel staff were smiley and couldn't be more accommodating. The room was beautiful, clean and regularly stocked with toiletries, little bedside sweets and coffee capsules to go with the coffee maker in our room. Breakfast consisted of continental and cooked food (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage) and as much juice and coffee as you could drink.

"Fantastic Hotel. "
On arrival the reception staff was very professional and explained everything about the Hotel and its facilities. Our stay was memorable seeing that it was our first visit to Rome - a Special occasion. The location was ideal as we were never more than 15-20 minutes walk away from the main sights. The Continental breakfast was ideal, my only disappointment was the lack of complimentary coffee/tea in the bed room. Overall a brilliant stay and would definitely have no compunction in staying there again.

"Very nice hotel in a good location."
We stayed for 4 nights at the end of September. The hotel is in a good location not far from the Vatican. The bar/breakfast room is openair on the top floor of the hotel with incredible views. The barman Willy is a gem. He provided us with hot snacks with our drinks which were reasonably priced. Overall our stay was enjoyable the only downside was the traffic noise which sometimes went on late into the evening. The breakfast was very good with a great choice. Lift and air con available. Bathroom large and stylish but a little impractical.

"A Special Place in Central Rome"
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we enjoyed a wonderful stay, which was for a special Anniversary break. The staff were superb - professional in all respects, so friendly and attentive, we could not have wished for a better experience and nothing was too much trouble, including recommendations for restaurants, the booking of transport etc .There was a discrete air about everything, so much so that everything appeared to be done by magic! The Villa was ideally situated within walking distance of central Rome but it was also a tranquil haven with no noise during the evening and access to its own private gardens. We were made to feel as though it was home. Rooms were luxurious and spacious with high quality furnishings and a superb bathroom (we had the Parioni room with its own balcony) and walk in wardrobe. Downstairs there were several common rooms, tastefully decorated with many period features and antiques. There was also a complimentary bar in the lounge area (between 5 and 11) and a glass of Prosecco was a lovely way to begin the evening before strolling into Rome. A wide selection of breakfast options to cater for every taste (including cooked options). Our celebration was made very special by the thoughtful bottle of wine and cake left in our room upon our return to the hotel following dinner. We would certainly not hesitate to go back there again - excellent value - exceeding our expectations.

"Very Clean and Great Location "
Stayed for 2 nights with my husband. Location was perfect for all landmarks. The room was descent sized and super clean! Mattress and bedding was exceptional (temperpedic mattress and pillows). Coffee machine and small fridge was a plus. Breakfast was pretty good, not huge variety but the basics were there and tastey. Overall a very cute and perfect boutique hotel when in Rome.

Great staff make you immediately welcome, and the experience gets better from there. Wonderful facilities, albeit the gym is, as is usual in this type of hotel, very limited. Pool area is as spectacular as the photos would suggest. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and hope to return soon.

"Great hotel in lovely part of Rome"
Fabulous hotel, friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff, beautifully decorated rooms and a breakfast room with a fabulous view of Rome to start your day. Hotel staff were all excellent, very helpful with tips and information of what to see and how best to do it. We stayed in junior suite, sadly only had internal views but was very comfortable, clean with all you need for a long weekend in Rome. We had breakfast included which was served on the 6th floor with great views of the city. Buffet breakfast had all you would expect. We also ate in the hotel's Mirabelle Restaurant which is on the 7th floor with equally good views, made for a wonderful romantic evening.
