Well situated and pleasant but slight inconveniences- no outlets available for computer/phone charging ( had to unplug lamps and move furniture to find one), no place for toiletries in bathroom, AC not working properly. Clean and pretty though.
The hotel is close to major attractions. The room was comfortable and clean but small with difficulty maneuvering around with the dresser or closet door open. The staff was very responsive and removed a movie fee that I had mistakenly purchased without any argument.
A small boutique hotel without a lot of flash but cozy and small accommodations. Staff was very friendly and sited within walking distance or short subway trip (Harvard). Tiny bathrooms and small rooms reinforce that you go to this excellent hotel to explore and not veg.
We came to Boston for parents weekend at our sons University. It was only the two of us so not having our girls with us it was exactly what we needed, no frills necessary. The hotel is in a great location, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Great bathroom and shower. The chair ...
Stayed at the Hotel Commonwealth for one night on business. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Nice large bathroom. The hotel is located a very short walk away from Fenway Park and there are numerous bars and restaurant in the area. I would stay there again when I return ...
Actually, once we discovered how central the location was to the train, restaurants, and the general tourist stuff, we changed our rental car need to nearly 1/2 of what we had planned. We spent that money in the fine local restaurants, including the few block walk to Little Italy for amazing food. ...
Every moment here was perfection. From the staff to the room to the location. We were greeted by the most pleasant employees. We had to wait a little bit for our room to be ready so we decided to venture around the area. You couldn't ask for a better location! The subway station was directly across ...
Hotel was fine. I have stayed here before and in general love the area and the hotel is nice value for price. The parking is always a surprise. $48 a day. We did not anticipate that expense. Might change our options next time. The front desk staff could be more helpful/welcoming. The restaurant attached ...
I was very happy to find this affordable alternative among all the much higher priced properties in the area. It is in a safe neighborhood and a convenient location. The room and bathroom were quite small, and amenities minimal (fridge in room, but coffee & microwave are in a "lounge "on a separate ...
This hotel is in a terrific location for walking around Boston, the staff is friendly and helpful, and both the bistro and the small bar are very nice. Unfortunately, we had three major annoyances. First, we were awakened at 5:50 a.m. by a workman who was painting the hallway outside our room. That ...
The hotel is comfortable and clean and in the perfect location. Valet parking was pricey and so was the room; we paid for an upgraded room expecting a City view and a balcony. The view was of the Hard Rock Cafe parking structure and the balconies are all Juliet balconies, big enough for one person ...
Great place, slightly off the beaten path of Copley Square, but very close to subway, restaurants, etc. Staying here is similar to living in your own apartment and very enjoyable, would definitely recommend!
In addition to the convenience of being close to area attractions, the many dining venues within the Colonial Inn along with the excellent menues make this the ideal place to stay in the Concord area.
Great location and a wonderful staff. Our housekeeper surprised us with small favors like leaving a bookmark and a computer screen wipe on our laptop. Quality of room furnishings are well above average. Some low points included a TV with bad reception (that was repaired the next day) and bad light ...
