"The room was clean and the staff was excellent. The continental breakfast was definitely lacking, but overall I would stay again."

"The Somerset was a nice hotel in a great location for access to the tourist places I wanted to visit and the suburbs where my old friends now live making visiting easy. The restaurant was closed for the weekend so I thought it very nice we were offered coffee, juice, fresh fruit and muffins in the lobby. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom large. The pillows have seen better days. I requested a feather pillow and none were available which was a problem for my sleeping and neck pain. Hallway noise also seemed high due the way room doors slammed when customers on my floor came and went."

"We were traveling with a small dog (six pounds) and selected the hotel based on pet friendliness. All the staff who met our dog were kind and happy to see her. The staff, in general were really very helpful and went out of their way to make the three of us welcome and comfortable. The property is well located. The bathroom facilities were modern and worked as expected. Bedding was very good. Everything is new and there are some minor punch-list type items, but nothing significant. Breakfast is cooked to order, hot, plentiful and tasty. We will be happy to return in the future."

"lobby was amazing and rooms were decent but the hallways were way outdated and dirty with a lingering smoke smell. Walls were super thin and could hear the neighbors. My room on the 2nd floor was right above an exit door and someone stood out there 4am smoking a menthol cigarette that filled my room up with the smell"

"Don't let the exterior scare you. Once inside, the hotel is pretty and well maintained. The pool got a little messy, but I wasn't blaming the staff, more the fault of guests who seem to think they had zero responsibility when it came to their towels. Food options at the hotel are fine, but the addition of complementary coffee with breakfast would be an elegant touch. The staff were very accommodating and friendly truly made my family feel at home on our three day stay."
