"Geri & Tom call it "The Million Dollar View" I could lookout upon that view a million times, & it still wouldn't be enough. My family & I are from the flat state of FL (our home is only 9ft above sea level) so the views from this property, were phenomenal & breathtaking! Mountain peaks (some still dotted with snow), the endless blue skies, green meadows, the shimmery dancing green aspens leaves, curious deer & various fluttering birds, accompanied by the perfect mountain air felt like a dream that had been calling me for as long as I can remember. The home is located right next to Apex Park (mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding trails), I am an outdoor/nature lover, so this was perfect for me. Every morning I went for a run by myself (I carried the bear spray because I'm from FL) but never felt in any danger because I'd always see other hikers, runners or bikers out too. My husband & teen daughter would join me for hikes mid-morning and evenings as well. There are many places to hike in Colorado, but when we'd look them up online, many were so similar to what was right there on property waiting to be explored. We went to see my favorite band play at Red Rocks (a bucket list venue)! My girls experienced snow for the 1st time when we took the cog train to Pike's peak. We saw bighorn sheep & 3 great grey owls at Garden of the Gods. We enjoyed all the games in the house. So much fun in downtown Golden! "Peace, Tranquility, Wildlife and Amazing Open Space Views! They aren’t lying! Those are exactly the words we used when we sat on the patio overlooking the views while we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The elk visiting the yard was an added bonus. This is such a central location to visit Golden, Morrison, Evergreen. Nothing more than 20 minutes away. Red Rocks Amphitheater 15 mins. The rental was clean and quite spacious. Well stocked for any type of cooking and baking. We used the gas grill one evening and it was clean and had a full propane tank. We will definitely be picking this lovely place when we are back in the area."

Nestled just a short drive from the Colorado School of Mines, Coors Brewery, and Red Rocks, this charming home offered the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The house itself was clean, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was also incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the area!"
