“The room and facilities are old looking and small. Especially for the bathroom. But the beds are clean and tidy and provide car parking. ”

“It was an interesting place to stay. It’s a listed property that is being renovated as allowed. We had a good sized bedroom but with noisy floors in the bathroom as well not too keen on electric showers but eventually got water at the right temp. Breakfast started off being a challenge as there was nothing we wanted but we had a conversation and someone went shopping so all was well for the three days we were there. The hotel must have been a really grand building as a lot of the original……

“The Perle Oban is a wonderful small hotel. The rooms are very large and nicely furnished. The included breakfast was good. And, it is very conveniently located just across the street from the train station and in the heart of Oban. I highly recommend it.”

“Location was great, right next to the loch, Food at the hotel opposite was great and the staff were great. Parking was a little bit of an issue with other guests not parking correctly, and the window blind, when used, fell off and hit me on the head, which was a shock at the time. Other than that, we had a very relaxing night's stay and were very comfortable.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Glencoe house! We were in a suite away from the main house which had a great outdoor hot tub and patio. The room was very spacious and clean. The assorted dinner entrees and breakfast food was excellent and the amenities in the room were perfect. We also loved walking around the grounds and loch. I highly recommend a stay here!!!”

“Stunning property with high end luxury amenities. Beautiful hotel and excellent food. This should be rated as a five star luxury property. The views were amazing and the restaurant was worth it. There is a whiskey library and pool table room. Minimum two night stay if you can to truly soak it all in and enjoy the surrounding trails.”
