"The guest cottage is even better than the VRBO descriptive explains...very quaint, everything you could need, wonderful sunlight in the mornings, a lovely porch with chickens doing short serenades...did you know that the Pazzis were foiled from assassinating the Medici out in the country by chickens? That is why you will see chicken shaped pitchers, seriously. So, very safe! Very quiet! And close to the park and those lovely redwood trees--the 12 apostles, the Faery Ring. Easy to get everywhere...

"It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!"

"The unit is nicely decorated and very clean and new. A little difficult for a long stay because of limited kitchen and VERY small refrigerator. A desk would be very helpful to avoid having to use the small dining table - have to move computer constantly when time to eat. Communication could've been a bit better from owner (felt like I was bothering him if I asked a question). A welcome manual would be nice with instructions. Lighting could be improved from street to unit door - uneven tile...

"Our interaction with the owner and his helpfulness to us was remarkable. I even had to have something shipped prior to my arrival and he was happy to receive it for me. The accommodations are first reight, fresh flowers, coffee in the refrigerator, clean and comfortable. Everything was as good as we could've asked. We were in San Rafael for a wedding and this was a perfect two nights for us to rest."
