"The inside is updated and nice, as is the outside of the building. The wood door really should be replaced as it lacks security and privacy. The shade covering the door window is ripped and no longer fits so we hung toilet paper on the sides for more privacy. The unit is decorated nicely; maybe an area rug would give it more of a homey/welcoming feeling. Price was excellent. "

5/5 Excellent
"Very modern, clean, and the staff did appear to pay attention to detail, which isn’t something you often plan to rate for lodging, but I did want to throw that in. Check-in process was very quick, and Champagne was offered during this time. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the entrance. The heated outdoor pool was a huge hit for my daughter. Especially since there are very few places you can swim outside at during the winter in Northern Michigan.
Our room was clean, and our view was ok. (We didn’t request/expect any exquisite view, as we were in town for a basketball tournament and just wanted a clean, safe area to spend our free time at).
The location is on the water, dining options are available on site, and you are near many other restaurants/ attractions. I do plan on staying at Delamar again during our future tournaments in that area. "

"Great hotel with nice location across from the bay. Beautiful views from room and roof terrace. Very nice rooms. The only thing to be aware is that there is plenty of vehicle trafic around and it does get loud. We were on 3rd floor facing the bay"
