"When I made the reservation, the picture was quite different from the room. It was tiny. The bathroom smelled of urine and the tub had rust stains. We brought this up to the front desk & told we couldn’t get another room. The only thing they could offer was a refund & we could go somewhere else. Trying to find a last minute hotel in that area with a reasonable price wasn’t going to work. They only offered a can of Lysol for the smell. We were suppose to receive a complementary beverage card at check in & didn’t receive it. Had to come back to ask for it."

"What amenities? No pool, no in room refrigerator or microwave, no in room coffee maker or even coffee in the lobby, no gym, no lounge space or gathering space. Comfortable mattresses and good showers, except the mattresses constantly slid on the frame and the shower backed up a little. Great staff and location. I don’t understand the resort fee - this was not a resort in any way. This was not worth the costs."

"Female/ travelling solo/ stayed here for 6 nights. Highly recommend. Location is fantastic with major subway lines a stone's throw from the hotel. Right off Herald Sq so there's plenty of people and foot traffic (but not crazy like Times Sq area). Numerous places to eat close by. Easy to get to many NYC attractions by foot or subway. Hotel was very clean, staff is professional and knowledgeable. Asked for a quiet room and Hilton delivered. Room was spotless. Would stay here again without hesitation."
