“This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property.”

“Beautiful property close to two harbors very private location. Our dog enjoyed being off leash and not having to worry about getting hit by a car. The night sky is amazing. There is not any light pollution.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”

“We had a very nice stay. The property is large, plenty of room for the dog to enjoy. The house is nice with lots of room for all to enjoy and was clean. Sitting out on the deck enjoying both the day and night was relaxing having a nice fire going. Close enough to Superior and Duluth for things to do and yet far enough away for piece and quite. Our hosts were responsive to email with check in and out very simple. Would stay again if we are back in the area.”

“This was the perfect spot for our weekend family getaway --My parents, husband and I had been visiting family in the area and were thrilled to find this great looking cabin not far from Hayward. This place was so easy to find. We really appreciated how well-lit the house and property were, since we arrived after dark. The whole cabin is welcoming and cozy. My parents slept in the upstairs bedroom and said they loved feeling like they were in the trees :) My mom and I are coffee enthusiasts and……
