“The hunting cabin is well equipped with almost all the cooking pots pans . There are some small appliances that do well in makings your everyday stuff the coffee pot toaster oven microwave. If you do stove top the induction cook top works well . The loft space sleeping space was open and comfortable stares are sturdy and rails. There is a good amount of trophies and taxidermy decor. So some might find it offensive .wildlife was around all the time while I was there dear bear squirrels all kinds……

“The property was just as described. There was a lag in communication the day of, had to request the info to access the cabin. Theres 3, be sure you go into the right one. The location is perfect, the cabin is cute and has what you nees. Bring any food, drinks or games. Theres a grill and a firepit on site if you're interested. Loved having the winery at the bottom of the hill. Highly recommend this cabin if you're in the area.”

“If you're looking for privacy and serenity, this is the place to stay! The property is well maintained. The Buckhannon river is only a rocks throw away and the sound of the water was very calming. I am from West Virginia and know that area fairly well, but my Garmin GPS took me to this property with no issue. ”

“We were group of 6 families with 25 members and had an absolutely amazing time. Initially our friends were hesitating as it’s totally in woods and were not sure what to expect. But everyone had a blast. House was clean and had so many beds that everyone got to sleep in their own bed with clean blankets. Kitchen is well equipped. Backyard view is gorgeous with place to do campfire and grill. We spent so much time there. And a big backyard where we had family games. House had so many little trails……

“My husband and I had an amazing stay at Cheryl’s property. The original place we rented had some water issues so prior to our arrival, we were contacted and offered the Deerling which happened to be bigger with no additional charge. I really appreciated that, it was very nice and accommodating. The place was immaculate. So clean, cute decor, and very secluded which is exactly what my husband and I were looking for. “We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road.
