“Of course it is handy to I25 but construction on the date of my visit made access very difficult. The problem is lack of attention to detail. The door access system is outdated and we had to request replacement cards twice (for a one night stay) to get one that would work. Fixtures recently replaced in the room were done without repairing the holes left from the old fixtures; and several were loose! There is more but the non-functioning AC made the night unpleasant. It was too late to……

“Pool is closed indefinitely. Sure, they say they advertised that on their main website, but who books through main websites anymore, when 3rd party discount booking sites exist? The pool closure was NOT disclosed on Expedia. Highly disappointed in that, since the safety/pool/breakfast are the top 3 things I need in a hotel when I’m traveling w my kids. They need a place to burn their energy before bed. Other than that, breakfast was well stocked and had a nice variety of items, the hotel……

“The check in was very poor. The staff member was on the phone with her ear buds on an obviously personal call through the whole check in process. She also thought my Maryland driver's license was from out of the country . I had several interactions with her and she was always on the phone. The other staff were more professional. The breakfast was subpar. ”

“I've stayed at El Rey many times, and I always enjoy it. The rooms are large and smartly decorated, there are many fun events that regularly occur on the property, and everything is well maintained. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, although the bartenders at La Reina seem to favor local patrons and can sometimes be aloof. The La Reina Mesita foodtruck is a bit hit-or-miss, but is nonetheless convenient. Overall, it's a fun place with great amenities and is centrally-located.……

“My recent stay at the Hampton Inn was one of the most frustrating and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The first room we were given a suite we had originally reserved was in unacceptable condition. There was poop on the toilet, the carpet was dirty, and it was obvious the room had not been cleaned properly. When we went downstairs to report the issue, the “general manager”, told us there were no more suites available and moved us into a standard room, two queen beds. At that point,……
