“We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child. The place was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We visited the Ark Encounter and we were able to bring our own food to cook so we didn’t have to eat out for 2 days. If you have small children or older adults the stairs to the loft are very steep.”

“Lots of windows for the view. Amenities were good for us two - HVAC, shower, tub, kitchen, etc. nicely private with great views from the deck and areas to walk in a woodsy environment. Saw a couple of deer several times”

“This unit is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Well stocked kitchen, with a full size washer and dryer. I had read about the frequent trains passing so I came prepared with earplugs, and it wasn't a problem. When our grandkids visited us there, they loved watching the trains. Main suggestion I would have for the owners is to replace the queen size mattress. Little too saggy in the middle. Overall I would recommend this unit, if you bring earplugs. : )”

“When my youngest was small he told his Pops his name was Farmer John and he farmed chickens down on the Strawberry River. (He was about 4 and had never been to or that we knew of even heard of the Strawberry River.). His Pops called him Farmer John a lot after that and my son still brings it up often. His Pops has since passed so on this trip when we passed the Strawberry River sign it brought up memories, but, after seeing that sign, pulling up to this old style farm house and walking in and……

“We stayed for three nights and we were very comfortable. The apt is very clean and well maintained. The bathroom and shower are great. The bed is outstanding! Perfect for two people, but not really suited for a family. To us, it was very cozy and felt like home. The kitchen met our needs, and has a fullsize frig and a microwave. Heads-up, no stove. Coffee is Keurig. The unit is also very quiet. Occasionally, a train rumbles past, but they are fast and short-lived and not too noisy. Very close to……

“We had a great stay at the farm. The house was exactly as described. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this one was the best stocked property. We had plenty of supplies including a broom, cleaning supplies and toilet paper. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook with, even a crock pot. The house felt cozy, kind of like stepping back in time to my great grandma's house. We loved the cows out back! I just wish it hadn't rained most of our stay so that we could……

“We were looking for a place to stay while we visited the Ark and Creation museum that could accommodate our family plus pups. This was the perfect place! So peaceful and relaxing to start our morning and end the day! Really enjoyed watching the farm animals across the way and we saw serval deers. Final road in a little rough but small inconvenience. I would recommend it as a good place to stay! Had just about everything you needed to prepare meals.”
