“The walls are like cardboard and the noise next door was so bad, tried earplugs, tried calling the front desk, put my clothes on at 1 AM to go to the front desk, but nothing was done. It was a nightmare. Finally with banging on the wall and very frustrated the noise finally stopped at 2:45 AM. I wanted to change room and the person on the desk the next afternoon could not mae that happen for I don't know how many reasons. The second night the noise started 12:45 AM until 4 ;15. “This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. “Good stay. Only issue was towel bar that kept falling off. And fan chain wouldn’t slow down the fan.”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“We stayed for a few days and a family of five it accommodated all of us with beds and space. It was a wonderful stay,the staff was helpful to let us know places and things to do as well as getting extra towels or anything. The area is beautiful too! Definitely a must stay spot if you need a place to stay in the area! Oh and the fact it’s 5 mins from the Calaveras redwoods was awesome!”
