"Well kept and well managed. Just what I hoped for and I would recommend it, but that's with mixed feelings because I want it to be available next year (want it to remain my secret, oh well). Like most of rural VT no cell service, but wi-fi calling worked for me in this flat. Great coffee and sandwich place 1.3 mi north, outside seating."

Canaan Village Apartment
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (9)
"The Canaan apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen with gas stove, full size fridge and has enough counter space to cook. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The apartment is convenient to pizza, gas station/handy stop, Chinese restaurant, post office and hardware store- I walked to everything. The only thing that would make the place better is a TV and maybe a more comfortable sofa. Thank you Mike for a comfortable place to...

Cozy 1850s home on the riverfront with mountain & river views - dog-friendly
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (7)
"The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove.
