“Danielle at check in was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and a good price, although I would recommend staying in a single story unit or one of the cottages, as we were on the ground floor of a two story unit near the river and the floors above us where very squeaky (room 331?) Our friends were in the next building over and said it was the same for them. Overall it was a good value and loved he friendly welcome at check in and check out.”

“The room is so smaller”

“This is our second time staying at the Rio Vista. We absolutely love the setting right on the Methow River! All rooms have private balconies overlooking the fast-flowing river below, where you can sit and relax and watch the wildlife along the river. We watched a doe with two fawns, mergansers, bald eagles, swifts, and swallows, and went to sleep to the sound of the rushing water. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location right on Main Street has easy walking distance to food, drink,……

“Nice room-large and clean, quiet place. BFT is good.”

“Location was convenient on Hwy 97. The staff was accommodating when a ground floor room was requested. The breakfast was good.”

“Views are incredible. Very helpful staff and good but limited continental breakfast.”

“The room was big, clean, and roomy. We especially liked having two chairs, a table and the refrigerator, which was really handy. The only downside was a noticeable cigarette smell in the room, which was unpleasant and took away a bit from the comfort of our stay.”

“It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe.”

“We had short one night stay in Mazama. It was a super smooth check in process and we had no issues. We chose Mazama because of the close proximity to North Cascades. Would stay here again!”
