Tucked away in a beautifully secluded setting yet conveniently close to everything we needed, it offered the best of both worlds—peaceful and private, but not isolated.The home was spotless upon arrival, and everything was immaculately maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable—like sleeping in a cloud—and the hotel-quality linens and plush towels were a luxurious touch. You can really tell the owners care about their guests’ experience.The kitchen was a dream—fully stocked with everything you’d use at home, including both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker (huge bonus!). We didn’t need to bring a thing. Every detail was thoughtfully considered.The surrounding property was just lovely. We enjoyed quiet mornings by the serene pond and evening strolls through the peaceful area—it’s like something out of a storybook. Communication with the owners was fantastic as well—warm, responsive, and professional from start to finish.Truly one of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return!"

"Beautifully renovated historical home in a great location, walking distance from the historic downtown district. Cozy, comfortable and the amazing backyard deck overlooking the river, complete with a swing and a table for outdoor dining, was our absolute favorite! Our family really enjoyed our time together in this gem...whether it was around the kitchen, the great family room with windows overlooking the river or the backyard, there were plenty of spaces that provided opportunities to enjoy our time together!"

"The house was fantastic. The drive to the house was beautiful, and there were trails to hike and swim holes in the river within a short distance. The house had plenty of space, is eclectic and fun, well decorated but livable at the same time.Nice kitchen with anything you may need. It was hot while we were there so we did not get to use the outdoor areas as much as we would have liked. There is a huge screened porch /patio that would be perfect in cooler weather. Stacey is quick to respond to questions and is a thoughtful communicative host. This truly is a home away from home!"

"We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The view of the lake was incredible. It was a good 20 minutes into Natchitoches but the drive was through the country so the scenery was great.The is very comfortable. The bed was great. Live all the ceiling fans!We would definitely stay here again!"

"We came to stay the weekend to visit friends. The whole place was very nice and clean, but there was a weird chlorine stench to the whole place despite them not having a pool. It was not as bad in the room, but still very disturbing. I'm just assuming this is from too much bleach use but don't really know. I still highly recommend as it is really nice! "
