Ideal for a Short Stay
"My husband and I were driving from Denver to Dallas and needed an easy spot to crash for the night. Lone Star Inn fulfilled that need. We were able to book and check-in same day for a one night stay after midnight. The night manager/clerk checked us in quickly. After entering the room, we soon realized that a large portion of the carpet was soaking wet. When my husband told the night manager about the situation and asked for a new room, he apologized and immediately gave a new room assignment. The new room had dry carpeting but the TV remote was missing (we weren't staying long enough for that to be a meaningful issue)."
