“We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside cabin! There was lots of land for toddler and dog to explore! The views of the lake were lovely, as was the cabin. Super clean, cozy, and well prepped when a rainy day kept us in.”

We found the path to the lake and took several beautiful long walks along the beach. The kitchen was well stocked- we did quite a bit of cooking and sitting outside was beautiful!”

“We enjoyed a nice long weekend. The house is conveniently located for skiing, bowling, and the iron mining museum. The kitchen is very spacious and I appreciated the extra items (condiments, kleenex, enough silverware) that aren't always available.”

“We LOVED this property. We frequent Marquette often because we have a child at NMU and this house, by far, was our favorite place. It is in a great location for visiting the downtown area and NMU. The view was amazing. The house was clean. Amy was so nice making sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the enclosed backyard for our dog. We hope to stay again in the future!”

“This house is located on a quiet lake and we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and riding in the pontoon boat. We saw bald eagles flying over the lake in the morning. The host provided everything we needed, including life jackets, towels, and water toys. There were ample bedrooms for our two families with kids. The property manager was very helpful when we had an issue come up requiring a repair and got it fixed the same day.”

“Great place to stay. The house was very clean, beds were comfy, and the game room in the basement was a great way to end our day. We had our dog with us and was nice to be able to walk her on the properties trails. Would definitely recommend this location as well as return for a future visit.”

“My husband, our 2 children and myself stayed at the property as part of our spring break. This place is awesome! This has got to be the most luxurious cabin we have ever stayed in. The pool/hot tub area was wonderfully maintained and the pool was warm upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided and we used the indoor fireplace daily. Ample cooking supplies were provided, even skewers for smores which I had forgotten. The grounds and lake were expansive and private. Mr. and Mrs. Hockaday……
