"I wasn't sure what to expect of the Seymour Lake Lodge when I booked it on Hotels.com. Was I pleasantly surprised! It is an old converted farmhouse, with tons of character, and all the modern conveniences. The room was adequate and comfortable, the view of the lake was stunning, both from my room, and the large front porch! A huge yard for walking my dog. Had lengthy conversations with the property manager and another guest. One of my most memorable stays."

Stove is not fully functional, but we did need it so it was not an issue for us. One kitchen glass had a crack in it. WiFi and Internet service is not fast, ~4Mbps down, resulting in streaming TV sometimes having to catch up in caching compressed data and delays in using laptop online. It got slower after...

"This is our second time and once again Josh was responsive and thoughtful given we were in need of a place for Christmas Eve. The house was even decorated and nice and cozy for the holidays when we arrived AND he left us a gift of maple syrup, chocolates and a few other goodies for our stay. Having a fenced in yard makes it easy with our dogs and the house is conveniently located in the NEK. We will definitely continue to book here when we need a house to bring our dogs with us.
