"Let’s start by saying that it’s a nice place. Recently remodeled little farm house on the edge of Belle Vista. But that is about where it stops. When you turn on the tap water, be prepared for a very strong odor of sulphur/crude. It’s awful. I noticed in our “welcome” email it said it had been remedied. It has not. "A sweet location – remote, surrounded by beautiful trees, quiet, and just what I was looking for. There were a couple of missteps finding the office to pick up my keys. A few maintenance problems got in the way of a perfect stay, though the property managers stepped up right away to address them. They were extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. "I have nothing but good things to say about our stay at Lost Cave Cottage. Everything about the experience was wonderful. We had a visitor from England who want to spend some time out in nature and the cottage fit that bill perfectly. Everything was as stated in the listing, the cabin was well appointed and well stocked, and the communication from the owners and any needed interactions were handled in a prompt and friendly manner. We're planning to visit again sometime next year!"
