“We stayed one night and chose this property for its advertised “on the beach” location. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations for the price.
The room was decent but outdated, with no air conditioning. To get airflow, you must open doors/windows, but there are no screens, so bugs come in. Privacy is also limited, as people from the nearby park can see directly inside.
A major issue was the train, which runs every 10–20 minutes and is very loud. Since the tracks sit between the property……

“What a wonderful space! The location is perfect for walking to the beach, downtown to shops and restaurants. The apartment was even nicer than expected: tall ceilings, washer and dryer, comfortable living space, nice bathroom! The owner was friendly, helpful and clear communication. Would definitely book again and highly recommend! ”

“House was great! We had an intimate gathering of some friends before a wedding and we loved the house and location. You’re just steps away from Cardiff and a short ride from Encinitas. The house had plenty of room to sleep and we utilized the grill and the kitchen. If I needed to stay in Cardiff again, would happily set up here again!”

“We had more down time than we expected over the weekend due to rainy weather and a short day at Legoland so we spent more time at the house. It was great! No one was bored, it was cozy and my grandkids were amused with tv and toys we brought. ”
