The surroundings are private and tranquil but shops/wineries/dining and the Heritage Rose Garden are all within easy driving distance.a Would reintegrate as noted in the listing that the stairs to the second floor sleeping area are indeed attic stairs. They are steep and shallow with only one hand rail so carrying luggage to the room is tricky if like us, you are seniors. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. "My husband and I stayed in Kay's studio for 4 nights in January. It was convenient to town and to the orienteering events we attended near the Slot canyon in the park. The studio was clean and had everything we needed and Kay was the perfect host. Her two dogs were friendly and fun."

"Moonrise Cottage is a perfect place to escape every day stress and chaos. The remote location is very quiet and worth the effort. Cottage itself has a an eclectic decorating style. It’s got everything you need. Heidi is a wonderful host. I had lots of questions about directions etc. to get there and she was very prompt in answering and very clear on how to get there. My wife and I plan to return to this oasis."

"My wife and father-in-law had an enjoyable stay here. The shower was excellent and the bonus of a washer and dryer was appreciated for cleanup after beach days. "This place was amazing, clean and cozy. The Tuscan decor made us feel we were staying in Italy. We were welcomed with soft music and a bottle of wine. Our host Dennis was on it when we needed anything. Thank you for the great breakfast recommendations and always checking in with us.
