“We had a problem with something getting repaired in room. It took 4 phone calls then a walk to front desk to get maintenance to come.”

“Had a great one week stay at the Barcelo. Clean rooms, pleasant staff for the most part. The location can’t be beat. Right on Palm beach and across from a vibrant shop and food area. The food at the resort was okay, do not expect gourmet offerings and you will not be disappointed. Will be back.”

“We stayed here with our kids and had a wonderful experience. The easy walk from the pool to the beach was especially convenient while traveling with children. Having a kitchen in the room made our stay more comfortable, and we appreciated that the hotel never felt overcrowded. Overall, it was a relaxing, family-friendly place that we would happily recommend.”

“did not like the high resort fees”

“Pros: Friendly staff, delicious food, nice gym, nice property overall Cons: Limited food options, only breakfast has a buffet option, cleanliness of room, pool bar closes too early”

“Five star vacation! Everything was great, except for the food at some of the restaurants, which I'd give four stars. The buffets were very good but the menu offerings at the restaurants was limited and not the best quality. It was good but not top shelf. Everything else was top shelf especially the staff. We were well taken care of at all times at every venue by the excellent staff. The main pool and the beach were joys!”

“Not bad resort food was great”
