"This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Minnesota. The property is beautiful, incredibly clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Every time we stay here it feels like a vacation. Our dogs could not be happier staying here and we have made so many good memories each time we stay here. Downtown Stillwater is only 6 minutes away and there are many wonderful restaurants and shops. The hosts are outstanding and always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and more."

"My husband and I wanted to do a short get away for our 32nd wedding anniversary. Our 2 nights on Green Lake were just what we needed! Fishing, relaxing on the deck with a good book, star gazing while having a fire, it was the perfect respite from busy lives. The cabin was so comfortable, wonderful bed and very cozy. The outdoor space is so well maintained, it's really better than any other place we ever stayed, including high end resorts! They were so accommodating with dock space for our boat...

"My friends and I made the short drive up from the Cities for a weekend away and could not have been more pleased with our stay at Zach and Betsy’s home. The house itself was clean and spacious—everyone (two couples, two singles) had their own space if they needed a minute to themselves. The details—from ample linens and phone chargers in every room to the coffee maker and French press to the board games—were immaculate. I fully recommend The Gables for a getaway!"

"I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you.
