“**Absolutely Disgusting — Avoid This Hotel** I booked this Holiday Inn Express in Columbus through Expedia because it was one of the most expensive hotels in the area and assumed I was paying more for a clean, well-maintained property. I was very wrong. The problems were obvious immediately: deferred maintenance everywhere, chopped-up trees and debris piled near the entrance, scuffed walls, cheap paper signs, and an overall dirty, run-down appearance. The inside smelled awful. My first-floor……

“What an awesome stay!! The amenities were surprisingly high quality for a rental. The cookware was first class and the showering products were top quality including special facial cleanser. I have stayed at VRBOs domestically and internationally and this is the nicest place that felt like home (but with better cookware. : ). I also messed up the calendar when booking and the hosts were very patient with me. We brought a box fan for the loft based on a review but the hosts had already provided……

“This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby.”
