“Rooms where decent for the price, but I found several roaches, I complained to the staff and their solution was to move me to a bigger nicer “the cleanest room they had” only for it to have roaches too. I am a frequent traveler and never had anyone pursued me to stay in a roach infested room. The staff also walked into my room as I was showering unannounced. Frustrating experience and they did absolutely nothing to accommodate me for the embarrassing situation”

“Checked out after 1 and a half days because of the cockroaches and other bugs both live and dead in the room including the one that landed on my pillow. The room was very dirty, the sheets were full of hair stains and dirt. The shower had no door or curtain and was so small I could not even bend to stretch my back. When I checked out I was still charged for the full stay of 5 days no refund. The royal inn should be shut down by the health department. I moved to the super 8 hotel in Kenedy very……

“The room clean. But carpet was so dirty and musty rooms.The breakfast not much to choose from.. The air cool. Good. A big gap on bottom of door. And key insert loose. The staff put us in another room. Very,very understanding and helpful.. price was great!!!!”

“Main window curtain had tears in it, door didn’t completely seal (light was visible around the edge. I had no hot water the first night; this was remedied the next day. I had to move the microwave oven from the night table to its proper place above the mini fridge. I also had to plug in and set the alarm clock. Also, due to the close proximity of the highway, I heard big diesel trucks as they passed all night. No coffee or coffee maker available.”
