"We stayed one night after arriving in Ketchikan and when we returned from our stay on Prince of Wales, we were at another resort, but cut our stay short there and returned to Cape Fox because we enjoyed our stay there so much!! We look forward to staying here again next year!!"

"The diner was absolutely perfect. The town does shut down pretty early, so getting a later dinner is not really very easy. The diner stays open until 8pm. The food is really good, and the staff is even better. We ate breakfast there every day of our trip and even had dinner there twice. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Ketchikan, Alaska. The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom also was clean and had great set up for handicapped persons. The price was reasonable, and you could pay a bit extra for early check in and late check out which helped us a lot."

"The view is amazing! Saw a whale, seals, squirrels, and eagles off the deck, and two bears in the neighbor's driveway! LOVED IT! The decor is beautiful. The layout works. Two living rooms is nice for a big group. Outdoor seating is a must, used it every day. There was a broken toilet when we arrived, but they did their best to fix it as soon as possible and communication was great. I wish it had a keurig, but we survived, ha ha. Short walk to Rotary Beach which is wonderful to explore during low tide. The view of the ocean, trees, and mountains is stunning! Tight parking, but there are arrangements to park nearby if you have multiple cars. Screens on the windows would be nice so that we could open them without the resident squirrels trying to get inside :) You can't beat the views or the location! Perfect for a large group and multiple couples too. We loved it and are already talking about returning!"

"Perfect Ketchikan stay! The unit is huge and looks exactly like the photos, maybe even better. The view is beautiful, watch the cruise ships, boats and float planes go by, and see wild life as well. The unit has all amenities needed for an easy stay in Ketchikan. With the warm weather, we even got to have a few meals on the deck which was a bonus. Full size kitchen was helpful to have a few meals in.Don't be deceived by the outside upon arriving, because once you are inside the condo you will love it. Parking was right out front too. The owner, Amber, is great and very helpful and easy to communicate with. They live right next door so always there to help out if needed. One of us left something behind and Amber took care of sending it to us right away. Highly recommend this unit!"

"The house was absolutely amazing and loved everything about it. From the easy check-in to the well stocked house that had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Incredible views off the deck for whale and bald eagle watching. Very private location sitting tucked away next to the beautiful totem pole park. "The house is fully complete. The kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms were clean and ready for us. We made use of the coffee maker, microwave, and stove top. Each of these items are in top shape as is the fridge and washer/dryer, which we also used. We walked up to the door just as the cleaning crew was walking out. They asked us our names and held the door open for us. The location of this house is perfect. We walked to great restaurants and shops and all but one historic site. It was a joy to stay in this house and if we come back to Ketchikan we will see if we can stay in this place again!"

"Nice location from the ferry terminal to the airport but bus is needed from downtown. Local grocery is next to the hotel. Room is clean and enough spacious. Kitchen is convenient but no kitchenware for cooking."

"If you are staying at a hotel in the summer, this is the place to stay in Ketchikan for a quiet, serene, Alaska experience. I had to leave a review just to mention they provide an assortment of pillows on your bed so you can find one to your preference. It’s those thoughtful little things as well as the welcome notes in your room that make this place special. The restaurant on-site is a large circular log building with sweeping views of the water and waterfalll off to the side. We had the breakfast buffet, lunch, dinner, and drinks at the bar during our stay this week and each experience was nice and didn’t feel rushed. "

"Excellent hosts! Needed in a little early due to flights and the host was a great help. The basis bus route is right there so travel into Ketchikan was not difficult. Nice place for just the two of us! "

"Our stay was perfect!! The beds were amazing and that view we enjoyed every minute we spent in the house. Walking distance to so many things! The stairs down to the main road were a killer, but well worth it. We hope to go back and stay there again. "

"This VRBO has a panoramic view of the Ketchikan harbor as advertised. This unit is perfect for a couple. We didn't have a vehicle during our stay, so we walked a lot. There are steep hills and lots of stairs which should be considered if that is an issue. Taxi service is reasonable and responsive if needed. We visited during the off-tourist season but were able to find several nice places to eat. "
