We had to park quite a ways away from our room and walk up the hills and then no elevator to get to our room. I guess it’d be OK if you’re 20 years old but when you’re in your 60s is not very much fun"

"The hotel staff was great. The check in process was smooth and the staff were polite. Unfortunately, the room we were placed in was not clean. Upon entering we were able to smell cigarette smoke and instantly sprayed the room with perfume to dilute the smell. It wasn't super strong so we made it work and just stayed in that room. After the first night we noticed the floors were dirty and sticky. The ceiling in the shower was also dirty. We have stayed in other La Quinta Inn's and this was the first time we have experienced a room that had not been cleaned properly. Overall it was an ok stay."
