“Beautiful historic property. Lots of neat history, almost like you're staying in a museum. Beautiful town, lake, beach, and close to a lot of restaurants, hiking trails, the marina, and parks. It's not a modern facility, but it has that cute historic vibe that's perfect for a weekend away. The pool is amazing.”

“All good except breakfast was disappointing. Not all advertised options were available. Most hot selections were room temp at best.”

“The entire premises were well maintained. It felt like I was in tiny village which was cool. The room was very clean and cozy. The only thing that stood out to me was the smell in the room. It smelt like moisture which made it feel a humid even with AC on blast. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot and would certainly stay here again. It’s very close to town and to many famous hiking spots. There are plenty of eating options whether upscale or laid back. This is a prime location indeed.”

“It’s a good place to stay while passing through, I don’t think I would stay more than one night. The breakfast and coffee bar was very limited.”

“Everything about the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and beds were comfortable. The shower was pretty slick which caused my Mom to fall, so be careful with that. The breakfast was really good. The REALLy big problem was the reservation I had through Expedia was not actually booked, so I had no room when I got there at 11:30 PM. Luckily, they had 1 room left and we were able to book that room for the night.”

“We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.”

“Everything was great. Our family had a great stay. The one aspect that gave us pause was there’s a barn/sliding door for the bathroom. Having a door that closed would have been preferable. =0)”

“The room was very clean, bathroom was modern, the staff was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the live music, evening social hour with drinks and snacks. The location was excellent, and within walking distance to Main Street restaurants and shops. Overall, it was a good stay. I would not hesitate to rebook, if I am in the area in the future.”

“I enjoyed my stay at Skylarnna Resort. The hotel was quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the on-site pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, so we had to go off-site for meals and drinks. Even though those facilities were closed, it would have been nice to still have the option to purchase bottled water or other beverages on-site. The room was clean, but the bathroom didn't have any ventilation, which caused it to get quite……

“Beautiful property with so many added touches. Complimentary coffee at coffee bar , very generous butler pantry, koozie’s to take home . Everything was top notch ! We enjoyed the front porch as well!”
