“The house was as good as advertised. It was very clean (we have high standards) and in good condition. The layout was very comfortable for us and our family of 6 had plenty of room.We had an infestation of small grey bugs (we think they are stink bugs) and had to continually clean them out. It is hard to control bugs in a countryside location, but it is good to be aware of them, going into the rental.On the upside, we visited in May and the grounds were far more attractive than they look in...

“My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding Memorial Day weekend. The place was comfortable cozy and close! We had an issue with the booking and day of the arrival that was dealt with promptly and professional with the owner. Communication was terrific to navigate this miscommunication and the owner made sure that we were able to attend all of the wedding events without compromise. He even offered to allowed us a late check out that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this...

“Pictures on internet were very nice and clean. Upon arriving was a different case property had junk behind the silo walkway was not stable uneven round rocks to walk on especially for the distance from the parking.. upon entering the silo not clean shower contained mold, and mildew dead flies on floor. Handrails on stairs not stable some very wobbly each stair has it’s own rail handle. Very unkept outside.”

“My wife and I had a great stay with our 2 dogs at the serenity cabin. The location is perfect - very close to some cool restaurants in Marshall (especially Field & Main with their special menu for dogs). The cabin was very clean and well appointed, with great outdoor space and hiking trails around the property. We will definitely be back for another stay. ”

“While there was something left to be desired by the kitchen utensils and cookware, this place is located off the beaten path in a beautiful mountainside area. Definitely worth the price. Just bring your own pot holders and pizza cutter if you plan on having pizza lol. ”
