We booked this property through Expedia. However, the El Acuario Hotel Playa del Carmen does not recognize Expedia reservations and didn't have the suite we booked. However, they put us up in a vacant room until we could find other accommodations. We were very disappointed that the reservation wasn't valid but appreciated the graciousness of the hotel until we found another location, especially as we had traveled so far to get there.
