"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. "This treehouse was just what we needed. Even though it is compact, it has everything you could possibly need. Close to a lake where you can kayak, canoe or pedal boat. You can also ride horses, all for a nominal fee. There is also a private hot tub and fire ring. It is peaceful and serene."

"We celebrated our 4oth wedding anniversary with a magical stay at The River Place with our four sons, their wives and our eight grandchildren. "Spring Lake was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I! The cabin was very clean, up to date, with gorgeous views of the lake. There is a winery very close by that we visited twice during our stay. Town is a quick 10 minute drive away. Overall it was a wonderful weekend. We will definitely be back!"
