Amazing Staff!

Posted Nov 21, 2016
Pros: Staff, food, swim-out room.
Cons: Preferred Club needs to offer much more and a Guest Services Manager needs to be hired and "on the ground" daily, welcoming guests.
Location: Fairly isolated. Beach erosion makes long walks difficult.
Good food, nice rooms, great pools and super staff make Secrets Silversands a fun vacation venue. While the beach is not the best, you will enjoy your stay. There are active pools and quiet pools. There are evening shows and many dining choices. Preferred Club gets you a nice room location but little else, so you may wish to save money on the upgrade.

Love the hotel, pool area and restaurants. However, the housekeeping needs to improve on cleaning the rooms.

Totally Great Experience

Posted Nov 15, 2016
Pros: Everything from the food and drink to the entertainment. I just love this resort.
Cons: Would love to have some restrooms on the opposite side of the pool, it can be a long hike multiple times a day.
Location: We never ventured from the resort grounds so it was fine for us.
My husband and I traveled to Secrets Silversands the week of November 7th. It was our second time to travel here and chose this resort to take our friends because it was top notch the first time and it did not disappoint us this time. The food was impeccable the drinks are top shelf, the entertainment staff pour their hearts into making their guests happy (Thank you Myra, Anna Bananna, Nico, and all the others), the waitresses and waiters are always there to please you(Thank you Karen for waiting on us for the week), the rooms are very clean and comfortable, never had to fight for a pool chair, the beach was very quiet if you wanted to get away from the noise. We went to almost all of the nightly shows and they were great entertainment. I would recommend this resort over and over again

Excellent place to stay

Posted Nov 13, 2016
Pros: nice pools, lots of good restaurants (never much of a wait to get in and no reservations) staff was awsome, can't do enough for you. Rooms excellent
Cons: leaving.lol
Location: not sure. never left the resort
rooms, food/drinks, staff and all amenities excellent. pools are nice and clean, but if your an ocean person, this wouldn't be a good choice. water is rough and and lot of rocks and sea weed.

Very Nice All Inclusive Resort

Posted Nov 2, 2016
Stayed at the hotel for 10 nights for our honeymoon. The food was great--especially the Asian restaurant. Initially we were told that this was the only restaurant you had to make reservations for-- we later realized that was only for the hibachi section of the restaurant. We did the hibachi which was good, but also just went to the regular restaurant twice. Jose, who was a waiter at the Asian restaurant, told us to come back for our last night and he would do something special. We had a special seat in the restaurant, decorated romantically with flowers and candles, and the chef prepared a 4 course meal for us. It was delicious and made us feel really special. He was great. Delmy, who brought us drinks while we lounged by the pool, was also very nice. She took the time to learn our names and remembered what drinks we liked. Overall it is a great resort and there were plenty of things to do. We had great weather but the last few days it was pretty cloudy. They could add some more indoor activities for when it is raining out. We were able to watch the Pats game as they have a sports room but it would be even better if they added pool tables in that room and a bar so you could just hang out in there and watch the games. Other than that, they have live entertainment every night and there were plenty of things to do at the big pool during the day. I would definitely go back.

All round excellent stay

Location: El tin to golf course is very nice.
Great food, great service, great hotel. Massages etc are extortionate compared to prices in the UK so didn't try any of them.

Home away from home

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: This time we didn't do a ton of excursions we just hung out and relaxed by the pool all day everyday and it was great.
Cons: Update the menu at el patio but really that's all I got everything was excellent
Location: It's pretty easy drive from the airport. And previous times when we stayed there it doesn't take long to get around.
We enjoy going to secrets silvers and when we're traveling without the kids! The staff, rooms, food, gym, spa, bar tenders, pool, waitresses, drinks, price are all wonderful. We will keep returning we already love going there and they are always trying to improve so it's always even better when we come back. Topping their already awesome atmosphere.
