“This place was amazing, clean and welcoming. It’s closed to the beach. Lots of restaurants around. The check in was smooth. And they have amazing coffee and a bunch of snacks. DEFINITELY WORTH IT.”

“Every single thing about The Cliffside Inn was excellent. The staff were friendly, informative and accommodating. The complimentary wine and appetizers at 5pm was a lovely touch after exploring Newport and waiting to head out for dinner. One night they offered chilled shrimp! We highly recommend the inn, and hopefully we will return some day!”

“The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. However, the staff at the reception were quite distant, whereas in a boutique hotel, a warmer and more welcoming attitude would be expected. As two female guests, perhaps because we stayed only one night, it felt strange to be given the room right by the entrance/office area.”

“Wir waren mit unserer Tochter für 1 Nacht im Inn und fanden es klasse. Es war schön, sauber , wir hatten ein großes Zimmer und der freundliche Empfang hat es für uns besonders gemacht. Auch die Empfehlung für das Abendbrot war klasse und wir haben uns sehr gut unterhalten mit dem netten Herrn an der Rezeption , der uns mehr über Newport erzählen konnte. Es war spannend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.”

“Breakfast was good and fresh each morning. Nice touch for sure. Area is extremely walkable with restaurants nearby. The bed was really comfortable. Shower in the Lark Suite is tricky to figure out but a lot of water pressure. While we were there the hot water in the shower did not work very well. We let them know and hopefully it is fixed by now.”

“We had another short but lovely stay at The Gilded. As always, Katey is amazing and makes coming back something to look forward to!”

“Great place to stay for centralized location. Easy walking to all the tourist activities. Our room was clean and comfortable, also quite large. No elevator but it wasn't an issue. Lovely staff.”
