“This was a unique opportunity for us and something we will definitely do again! The Marina was very quiet (we stayed Sunday through Thursday). It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the birds during the day and other wildlife (American Mink!) in the harbor at night. It was our first vacation in many years and being on the Irish Mist really took us away from our usual patterns. Everything was clean and the separate "rooms" gave us the ability to stay organized and make our own meals……

“Being our first experience lodging on a house boat, we felt as though we were staying in luxury. Unexpectedly, the boat was fully equipped with everything. The owner has it tastefully decorated, neat and very clean. Good location and within walking of a couple popular bar/restaurant eateries, although many around the city (college town). The welcome notebook inside the boat explains everything, with contact information. We fished each day off the boat using our own gear, unfortunately, not……

“Fantastic boat stay. This is the second time we’ve stayed with Patrick and it’s been our favorite so far. Boat is immaculate and roomy for two. We really love the location as there’s always something going on at the marina or downtown. Within walking distance to whatever you need. It’s also very reasonable to stay here versus a hotel. One of our favorite places!!! ”

“Very nice stay. Bed was comfortable and clean. Liked the experience of being on a boat. Amenities were great. Had a little trouble with the on board toilet but otherwise it was a great stay.”
