“Place was dingy, old and filthy. Blanket so thin (and torn) that it was useless. Flooring our room was dangerously slippery. Not enough outlets and phone in the room did not work. Thin worn towels that didn’t absorb and the tub was so slippery that I had to use grab bars while showering. Tried to use the fitness room that was seedy and dirty. The one exercise bike was dangerous - not sure what was wrong with it. Breakfast was terrible. Only carbs available- 3 types of sugary cereal, bread,……

“We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.”
