"It’s a good place to stay if you want to live in downtown Halifax. Convenient location, easy to walk to public gardens and citadel historical museum! "
"The building is absolutely beautiful. This historic structure is well situated by the waterfront of Halifax. The staff is so very friendly and helpful. The courtyard is a nice touch. "
" Can’t beat this hotel! Love staying here. We were greeted as loyal guests and received a hand written note and chocolates to thank us for return visits. We love the spa like pool floor. We were slightly disappointed on this visit because there were several kids screaming and splashing in the pool. It would be great to have a sign indicating that it is a quiet zone to preserve the spa-like atmosphere. "
"Location, location, location! This place is right in the heart of the city. Everything you need is right around you. The interior does show some wear, but was neat and updated. Was very quiet, which was very surprising with all the construction in the area. The description was very accurate. Very satisfied with our stay."
"Very clean and specious. Two levels provide privacy and quiet ime from the kids with TV on both levels. Well equiped with all you migh need for perfect vacation. "
"we stayed here for four nights with our family event in Halifax. we had a great time. the location is amazing with so much within walking distance but the house is quiet and shielded from outside noise. the history of the home is appealing but it has all the amenities we needed. it is on the second and third floor so you need to be able to do stairs. some of the things important to us: the bedrooms which had air conditioning (3/4) were very comfortable in the summer heat. There were fans to move the air. All the beds were comfortable. The water pressure is good. The kitchen is new and clean with a dish washer. Fabulous location. Easy check in process. Simple check out: Not a huge list of complicated check out tasks like we have had at other rentals. Helpful but non-invasive host. "
"Our family of 4 had an incredible stay in this beautiful penthouse. Even better than the description! Perfectly located to walk everywhere we wanted and had everything we needed inside the unit. Great and flexible communication with the host. We will definitely be coming back!"
"HI Halifax was a lovely stay in a Good Location in the city! Really great value with a clean fun aesthetic. Would certainly consider coming back or visiting their other locations
Staff members were super friendly. Wish I took time to share the common areas with fellow travellers. "
