“We stayed at Uma Hotel for one night, and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. Our room was located in a separate side building, which had no porter service and required carrying two large suitcases up stairs—quite inconvenient, especially for a short stay. The building itself also didn’t feel particularly secure, which made us uncomfortable. On top of that, noise was a major issue—we could clearly hear sounds from neighboring rooms, the hallway, and even the room above, making it……

“As an example of how great the staff were as we were leaving I managed to drop my prescription sunglasses out of their holder without noticing until I went to go outside. I told reception and retraced my steps. By the time I found them under a seat I had briefly sat on, even the security man had been looking for them. They really went out of their way. Food fantastic and freshly made. Quirky property - lovely atmosphere and great bar.”

“The apartment of floor to ceiling windows was very nice and spacious. Unfortunately the cleaning of it was a bit subpar with dust on much of the trim work/lamps. Unfortunately a number of lights did not work (incl some in master bath). We made 3 requests for maintenance—each w a quick reply msg that it would be addressed shortly with no one ever showing up—they stated they came & fixed the balcony light—yet there wasn’t even a light out there at all! Lol. Also we had no chairs on the balcony……
