“Did not eat breakfast.”

“I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here……

“The grass was high, nothing was trimmed or mowed. It looked like an empty motel. The bathroom shower was dirty and had a drain that wouldn’t close. It was clearly broken. There is dust and grime on almost everything. The breakfast was pretty good. Hard to mess up a buffet of waffles and cereal and bagels. So, at least it still has one thing going for it. The pool was also a dirty area. The indoor area smelled strongly of chemicals and I didn’t let my daughter swim in it. This hotel needs a……

“I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best”

“Good location not too far from Downtown. Free parking and breakfast was a plus. Rooms were mid, and there was a funky smell coming from the AC. There was some yelling and loud talking in the hallways early in morning which made it hard to sleep. Overall it served its purpose for 2 night.”

“Perfect spot to stay while visiting family. Close enough to get to everything but in a quieter area”

“My family and I recently stayed at this hotel property for two nights while on a road trip. We checked in on a Thursday night and checked out on Saturday morning. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were helpful upon check-in and were generous in giving us extra towels. The breakfast was a hot breakfast and consisted of eggs (scrambled/fried/omelette), sausages, and biscuits and gravy. There was plenty of parking on the property. The only minuses were that the sleeper……
