“Would give 0 stars if possible. Arrived at location (after check in time) to find front door open and residence occupied and obviously not in any condition for us to stay in. No response to our knocking or announcing our presence. Host communication was terrible. Area around location somewhat questionable, but not as concerning as the accommodations. Had the stress of locating (and paying for) a hotel with an opening (UD parents weekend). Was waiting to do review to see if we could arrive……

“It is very close to UD and everything was less than 15 minutes away. We had a slight hiccup with the check in process, but we reached out to the host and she responded very quickly. The decor is nice and the unit was very clean.”

“We booked this property in Sept of 2025 for our daughters graduation from UD, knowing that properties go fast and you need to plan ahead for this weekend. We arrived at 4 pm check in time, punched in the key code and surprised 2 people who had rented it for the week and had booked it just a week ago.The owner, SHELLY, was out of town. Her assistant was unable to find any other places for us. She did send a list of Dayton hotels Most were totally booked for the weekend.We spent a good bit of……

“Home was as listed. Parking could be an issue given only parking is on street. We were able to find a spot close to the home. Very clean and well appointed. As advertised and would rent again. Thank you!”

“Very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Very sketchy neighborhood, including smashed liquor bottles at the foot of the porch steps. The online photos of the interior are very misleading. Unit is old, poorly renovated and bare bones furnishings. We quickly discovered the place had not been cleaned since the last occupancy … dusty furniture, stagnant water in the bathroom sink which had an inoperable drain, and dirty sheets on the bed with undeniable evidence too gross to mention. There was also a very noticeable stench of marijuana……

“The rental was not without merit but for every positive there was a dissapointment. The shower was nice but the bathmat was stained from water that repeatedly soaked it from the water that leaked from the door. It had a nice covered front porch to sit on but it was questionable if you wanted to use it. One example was a man yelling as he walked with a long stick hitting signs and posts as he brisky walked up the street. It had a coffee pot but only 2 cups that held hot liquid and did not leak.……
