“We were very satisfied with our 3 day stay at Stoney Creek. It was our first stay there and we’ll definitely stay here again. There is plenty of parking and it’s a convenient location. The breakfast was very good every day with many choices to select from. Our room was next to the breakfast room and faced the parking lot but we heard no noise or banging. The beds were comfy too. The only reasons for a few points off was towels that have seen better days and a little extra floor cleaning in the……

“I’m sure this was a beautiful hotel back in the day. Sadly it is run down with very few updates. The carpets haven’t been cleaned in a while. The furniture is very worn. The elevators were pretty shabby. The AC wasn’t working in the hallways or in the lobby, so relaxing in the lounge area was not pleasant. The restaurant breakfast was average. Cocktails at the bar seemed watered down. But the staff was very pleasant and professional. It’s not their fault that the hotel is just dilapidated.……

“I asked to do an early check in. I noted the special requests when I booked the room. I was scheduled to work in Peoria that weekend. I got off of work at 430 a.m. He denied me and told me Id mess up his audit. So I ended up sleeping in my vehicle till check in at 3. Then when I got to my room, I went to go shower and noticed there were long black hairs on the toilet and it was obvious that the floor hadn't been nor mopped. Needless to say, I will never stay again.”
