“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“Nice staff with very wonderful experience to check in”

“Beautiful Borgo with views over Sienna and wonderful Tuscan countryside. In peak summer there is a family pool and adults only pool. The family pool was quiet and nice area to relax. About 20-30 mins to Siena we explored lots of lovely hill top places for dinner each night. Pool side dining was ok, club sandwiches that type of thing not extensive choice but adequate. Stunning views, good location to explore surrounding area. Would definitely recommend. I stayed with my family two boys age 9……

“Dont look further, this place is a paradise!”

“Location wise, it is right in the center of Siena and is close to all the tourist attraction points. It is also the only five star hotel within the walls of Siena. The hotel is well equipped, and since we booked the best suite in the hotel, the view from it is spectacular. The suite is spacious, the interior is of an European style but with a modern touch, room service is excellent and all the staffs are super friendly. We particularly wishes to thank the front desk because they helped to……

“Clean”

“Beautiful pool with view. Friendly staff members. Town is walkable but there is also a bus stop nearby that does the uphill drive to the top of town. Maybe not the most suitable for those who have proper mobility concerns for getting into town, but for everyone else the location is great”

“The hotel is in a nice location, and the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of choices. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, which had good service and several tasty Tuscan dishes for dinner. The main disappointment was the check-in experience. The room initially assigned to us did not match the description in our Expedia booking, and we had to ask repeatedly before being moved to a different room. This made the start of our stay quite unpleasant. Once the room issue was resolved, the rest……
