“We loved the seclusion to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. A few things to note- we were in an F250 and without turning our 4WD on, had to floor it to get up the driveway leaving. The hot water heater kept showing an error signal my first shower and my husband would have to unplug it and plug it back in to get hot water again. Pillows were fantastic, beds were extremely hard. I wish the couch reclined. WiFi worked great, Many streaming apps on the TV. Loved that there were ice trays. Hot tub……

“This was a very relaxing and private spot, even with a couple of nearby cabins. It was not hard to find using the directions, and the amenities were great. We weren't able to use the grill because the propane tank was impossible to open, but otherwise we had a great time.”

“Pool out of service and had been for extended period of time Why wasn't this noted on the site? Room advertised as having deck / balcony It had neither, just a motel room in an old run-down motel. Restaurant food was poor They tried to over charge me on my meal as well until I shown them the menu with the prices. Staff was NOT friendly with customers. This motel may have been good twenty years ago but not now. I would rate it overall as poor and never stay there again I will tell my……

“This place was great. It exactly met our needs. There is a great gym, a really nice heated indoor pool and a cute little park. We stayed in one of the townhouses. It was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. We will definitely come back next time we visit WV”

“The house is as advertised… old, creaky, and crooked. It was warm and comfortable. My only complaint is the kitchen. There were very few pots and pans, only 3 forks & 3 spoons in the utensils drawer, and just not thoughtfully stocked. We messaged the owner because the faucet was extremely loose, and we got a quick reply that he would have someone look at later. It is definitely in need of some TLC. The downstairs apartment is cozy and quaint. A great little space. ”
