“This was a wonderful facility. The rooms have been beautifully restored, they are a nice size and beautiful. The highlight of the trip here was the friendly, efficient and helpful service staff. The staff went above and beyond again and again to make our experience here wonderful.”

“Gorgeous property with an amazing view, a pool, clean, with very friendly staff. They offer breakfast which was basic but enough choices and delicious. A bit far from the promenade about 20 min walk going down and 25 min going uphill. Beautiful walk, though! If you are OK with a nice walk this is the place for you. If you have a car they offer free parking. There are few taxis available in case you need a ride. Very peaceful place”

“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”

“We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room……

Wir wurden von der Familie (inhabergeführtes Hotel) herzlich empfangen und über das gesamte Wochenende wunderbar begleitet. “What a hidden gem. Really beautiful property. The staff could not have been nicer. We had a rental car which made this perfect for us. It might be a trickier location to get to if relying on other modes of transport. It's about 15mins drive from Bellagio. The apartment we got was perfect. The views stunning.
